ADORATION: our FAMILY’S STORY IN NEW ORLEANS

From jazz nights to family traditions: celebrating the moments that last forever.

In August, my family took a beautiful trip to New Orleans to celebrate the magic of family, tradition, and the artistry that connects us all.

About

For the first time in seven years, our family took a break—an intentional pause to recharge, reconnect, and discover fresh inspiration. We found ourselves in the heart of New Orleans, a city alive with history, music, and soul.

This wasn’t just a vacation; it was an exploration of how the stories of places, people, and moments intertwine with the stories told through our jewelry. From jazz-filled nights to spirited family meals, and even an unforgettable photoshoot in the stunning setting of our hotel, our trip reminded us why every piece we create is more than just an accessory—it’s a thread in the fabric of your family’s legacy.

Through this campaign, we hope to capture the essence of what makes jewelry timeless: its ability to carry love, memory, and connection across generations.

Hosted by the warm and vibrant hospitality of NOLA, we created our ADORATION campaign—a love letter to the memories we hold close and the heirlooms that help tell our stories.

How do you view jewelry?

Jewelry has always been an adornment for me, something I collect and wear daily. It's more than an accessory—it's a way to express myself. In our family, jewelry has always been exchanged as a symbol of love and memory, a tradition that goes back generations. Growing up in the 70s and 80s, I remember how my siblings, my mom, and I would dress up so elegantly—it’s something I’ve carried with me every day since.

What was her favorite NOLA moment?

My favorite moment in New Orleans was the jazz clubs. I couldn't believe how alive the streets became at night—it was like the city came to life with music and energy. It’s an experience I’ll always cherish.

What unique personality traits or quirks did she bring to the shoot?

I’m someone who loves creating joy and spreading love everywhere I go. Whether it’s family or strangers, I treat everyone like they’re part of my family. During the shoot, I think I brought that same energy—it’s just who I am.

How do you view jewelry?

For me, jewelry is a fashion accessory, something to accentuate my style. I love bold pieces like hoops and pendant chains because they elevate any outfit. While I cherish my collection, I’ll admit—I lose jewelry often! But it’s not a big deal. I just see it as an opportunity to replace it with something new and exciting. I also gift my daughter jewelry every year to keep our family tradition alive and to help her grow into a devoted Adore Adorn fan.

What was her favorite NOLA moment?

My favorite part of New Orleans was showing our mom all my favorite spots to eat. Sasha couldn’t indulge because she’s vegan, but the two of us are so passionate about good food, and it was such a joy to share that with our mom.

What unique personality traits or quirks did she bring to the shoot?

During the shoot, I was definitely one of the ‘personality hires.’ My mom and I kept everyone laughing and in good spirits. Even though I naturally like to take charge of experiences, I loved that we all got to share the moment together as a family.

Why did you decide to include your family in this campaign?

Our family has had some major life shifts in the last few years, and I felt it was so important to get us all together outside of our homes. I almost didn’t make it happen because I got so busy with my new collections this year, but when the NOLA hotels approved our campaign shoot, inviting my family became a no-brainer.

How do you view jewelry personally?

Jewelry has always been about memory for me. Every piece I create has a story behind it, and the people closest to me have a piece named after them. It’s my favorite part of being a designer—every collection is deeply personal and purely me.

What was your funniest NOLA moment?

The funniest part of the shoot day was how many people came up to us during the shoot to chat, as if we were old friends. They were so intrigued by our jewelry and loved hearing about the brand. It was such a joy to connect with people in that way—it felt so real and authentic.

What do you hope this campaign inspires?

I hope this campaign encourages my audience to see jewelry in a new light. We often shoot with models in a more polished setting, but stepping away from that and capturing these everyday, real family moments was so refreshing. I want people to see how jewelry can connect us to loved ones and make the everyday feel extraordinary.
